Solinst Barologger 5
The Solinst Barologger 5 is a barometric pressure datalogger built on the same rugged stainless-steel platform as the Levelogger 5, but instead of measuring submerged water pressure, it records ambient atmospheric pressure and temperature above the water table. Paired with Solinst's Data Compensation Wizard software, a single Barologger 5 can barometrically correct absolute-pressure readings from every non-vented Levelogger deployed within roughly a 20-mile radius or 1,000 feet of elevation change, making it a required companion instrument for groundwater monitoring networks that rely on absolute (non-vented) water level dataloggers.
Do you have everything you need? A Barologger 5 is typically deployed alongside one or more Levelogger 5 or Levelogger 5 LTC dataloggers in the same monitoring network, and read out using a Direct Read Cable, Field Reader, or DataGrabber.
- Shares the Levelogger 5's 10-year lithium battery and 316 stainless steel housing
- Records barometric pressure and temperature independent of well water level
- Compensates an entire network of Leveloggers from a single reference station
- Optical, non-invasive communication port compatible with Field Reader, DataGrabber, and Readout Unit accessories
- Stores up to 150,000 time-stamped readings in non-volatile memory
- Compatible with SDI-12 and Modbus telemetry systems for remote barometric monitoring
- Barometric compensation for groundwater monitoring well networks
- Aquifer testing and pumping test programs
- Long-term water resource monitoring
- Regional monitoring networks spanning multiple wells
- Surface water and stream level studies requiring barometric correction
- Environmental compliance and remediation site monitoring
