The P7 and P2 probes measure well depth, but differ in design. The P7 is submersible to 1000ft, smaller, and lighter, laser marked flat tape, while the P2 is a heat embossed PE flat tape, shielded for cascading water but not suitable for deep submergence. Both are easily repaired or replaced.
