Replacement tape assembly for Geotech ETL water level meters — 500–1000 ft / 150–300 m reels. A cut, kinked, or shorted tape doesn't mean a new meter: swap the tape assembly and the reel, frame, and control electronics carry on.

Order the same material, length, and units as your original tape. Check the markings on your existing tape before ordering — it's marked in feet or metres, never both.

Important: 5/8" vs 3/8"

• 5/8" — tape only. The 5/8" probe is field serviceable, so it's sold separately and you reuse or rebuild yours. Need a new one? See the probe assembly.
• 3/8" — tape plus probe. The 3/8" probe is not field replaceable, so it ships permanently attached to a new tape. That's why 3/8" costs more than 5/8" at the same length — you're getting a probe too.

Which range do I have?

• ET — 100–300 ft / 30–100 m.
• ETL — this listing. 500–1000 ft / 150–300 m.
• ETL deep — 1500–5000 ft / 450–925 m rewind reels.

Note: ETL meters from 500 ft up use a longer control assembly than ET models. If you're replacing electronics as well, see the control assembly and pick the 500 ft-plus version.
