Laval's level-wind upgrade to the R-Cam XLT platform: the winch's built-in level wind lays cable evenly across the drum automatically, so operators can focus on the survey instead of managing cable by hand. A removable boom arm and winch handle make it easier to transport and store. Includes the dual-view R-Cam camera, centralizer, carrying case, control unit with 9" monitor and embedded DVR, QWERTY keyboard, 12V battery, and transport cart, with 1,000 feet of Kevlar-reinforced cable.

Application

New construction inspection, lost-tool recovery, and groundwater quality/geological assessment, with less operator attention needed for cable management than the standard XLT winch.
