ZipLiner is Geotech's own factory-scored, tear-open direct-push soil sampling liner — extruded in the USA from clear PVC and sized to drop directly into a Geoprobe MacroCore sampler in place of a standard liner. Instead of cutting the liner open with a utility knife once it's retrieved, the sleeve's scored "Ziptab" is caught and rolled back with a ZipTool (sold separately) to split the liner lengthwise — exposing the soil core for logging, photographing, or sub-sampling without a blade, eliminating the laceration risk of knife-opened liners. Application: Drop-in replacement for a standard MacroCore liner whenever a fast, blade-free way to open the core is wanted in the field. Requires a ZipTool (Drill Bit or Manual) to open.
