Aftermarket-compatible liner for Geoprobe® MacroCore (MC5) samplers — 1.75" diameter. If your direct-push rig (Geoprobe 54-, 66-, or 78-series and similar) runs the MacroCore sampler — the most common Geoprobe sampler — this liner is sized to fit.

Manufactured by Universal Plastics, a Geotech Environmental company, from rigid, clear PVC extruded in the USA. Captures a continuous, minimally disturbed soil core as the MacroCore sampler is driven into the ground and retrieved, letting field staff see stratification immediately and send an intact sample to the lab for metals, inorganics, chemical, or stratigraphic analysis. Standard (open) style. Available in 3', 4', and 5' lengths. 66 liners/case.

Application: Insert into the MacroCore sampler ahead of driving, advance to depth, then retrieve and cap the liner for transport or split it open on site to log soil conditions.
