Geotech Pressure Transducer Cable
Premium double-shielded polyurethane cable for Geotech gauged and absolute submersible pressure transducers, cut to length in 25 ft increments. Four 24 AWG tinned copper conductors (red, white, blue, orange) plus a bare tinned drain wire, in a 0.335–0.360" polyurethane jacket.
Pick the right cable — they are not interchangeable
- Vented (gauged transducers) — carries a Nylon 6/6 vent tube that keeps the sensor referenced to atmosphere. This is what makes a gauged reading barometrically compensated at the sensor. The vent must be protected by a desiccant cartridge, aneroid bellows, or vented junction box.
- Non-vented (absolute transducers) — sealed, no vent tube, nothing to maintain. Slightly less per foot.
Fitting vented cable to an absolute sensor, or non-vented cable to a gauged sensor, will not give you a usable measurement — match the cable to the transducer you ordered.
Ordering notes
- Lengths run 25 ft to 500 ft in 25 ft steps. Need something longer, or an odd length? Contact us — we cut to order routinely, and the per-foot line is still available in Transducer Parts & Accessories.
- A cable spool is required for any run over 150 ft. Small to 350 ft, medium to 800 ft, large to 2500 ft — all in the parts collection.
- Measure from the sensor to your termination point and add slack for the wellhead and enclosure. Running short is the most common ordering mistake.
- Surge suppression is recommended anywhere with lightning exposure.
