Gauged and absolute transducers use different cable — the gauged cable carries a vent tube. A cable spool is required for any run over 150 ft, and gauged units need desiccant or bellows vent protection: moisture in the vent line destroys the sensor and declining protection voids the transducer and cable warranty.
