Meteorological sensing options for the Honeywell AreaRAE Plus and AreaRAE Pro transportable area monitors.

Gas readings alone tell you a release happened. Adding wind speed and direction tells you where the plume is going — which is why the RAEMet sensor is usually the first option specified on a fence-line or emergency-response deployment. The RAEMet head mounts at the top of the monitor and reports wind speed, wind direction, temperature and humidity alongside the gas channels, drawing its power from the monitor itself.

• Wind speed 0–20 m/s (0–44 mph), start speed 0.1 m/s
• Wind direction full 360° with no dead band
• Temperature −20 to 60 °C (−4 to 140 °F), 0.1 °C resolution
• Humidity 10–95% RH, 1% resolution
• Compass resolution 1°

Choose the complete kit if you are adding weather sensing for the first time. The sensor-only and stand-only options are intended as replacements where you already have the other half.
