Power and sample-transport spares for the Honeywell AreaRAE Plus and AreaRAE Pro area monitors.

The AreaRAE runs on a rechargeable 7.2 V / 10 Ah Li-ion pack with a built-in charger, giving roughly 16 hours of operation with wireless active. Like all lithium-ion packs it loses usable capacity with age and cycle count, so a second pack is the usual way to keep a monitor deployed across shifts rather than waiting on a recharge.

The external charger conditions a spare pack away from the instrument — useful when the monitor stays on station and only the battery rotates.

The pump assembly is the serviceable sample-draw unit. Falling flow, repeated flow faults, or an audible change in pump note are the usual signs it has reached end of life; replacing the assembly is generally more economic than a full service exchange.
