AMS Reinforced Regular Augers are heavy-duty adaptations of the standard AMS regular soil auger, built for augering in difficult lithologies and higher-torque work. Three additional gussets at the bail add strength to resist twisting or bending under load. The open-bit design lets small soil clumps and rocks enter the cylinder while collecting disturbed samples and advancing boreholes in tough ground.

Available in Standard and full Stainless Steel builds, across 5/8" threaded, Quick Connect, and Hex Quick Pin connections in diameters from 1-1/2" to 5". Compatible with AMS extensions and cross handles of the same connection type.

Applications: heavy-duty augering, stony/compacted and difficult lithologies, and disturbed soil sampling.
