Solinst 800 Single Point Packer
The Solinst 800 Single Point Packer is an inflatable rubber element mounted on a rigid Schedule 80 PVC body, lowered into a well or borehole on riser pipe or a wireline. A small-diameter tubing line runs from the packer to the surface, where a hand pump forces air into the gland, expanding it radially against the well or borehole wall to seal at the target depth. This isolates the zone below the packer from the rest of the water column, so fluid sampled or tested through the packer's open through-bore reflects only that isolated interval.
