AMS Russian Peat & Sediment Borer Kits collect relatively undisturbed cores from saturated organic soils, peat, and soft sediments. The half-cylinder sampling chamber rotates into the soil against a fixed fin, capturing a clean half-core with minimal compression or contamination — ideal for stratigraphic and paleoenvironmental work.

Complete kits include the borer, extensions, and T-handle. Available in standard 7/8" and Hex Quick Pin configurations.
