AMS Carbon Sampling Kits are purpose-built for soil organic carbon (SOC) sampling and soil-health programs, collecting relatively undisturbed 2" x 12" cores in full compliance with CEMA 221 protocols. They feature the AMS 1-1/4" Direct Push threaded connection — the strongest hand-sampling core connection AMS makes — and a specialized hammer head that accepts an oversized cross handle so two people can extract the sampler together.

Choose a split core configuration, whose vertically split cylinder opens for fast, low-disturbance core removal (with or without a liner), or a solid/slotted cup configuration. Gas-powered options include the REDI Boss Hammer (Honda 1.6 HP, 4-stroke) for rapid, low-compaction driving; manual configurations are available where powered driving isn't needed.
