Myron L 442 Natural Water Standard is the calibration solution to use when your instrument is set to the 442 solution model — Myron L's blend that mimics the conductivity/TDS behavior of natural waters. Calibrating in the same solution model you measure in is what keeps TDS readings honest.

Application

Use with Ultrameter II, Ultrameter III, PoolPro, TechPro II, DS/pDS meters and Ultrapen PT1 / PTBT1 pens whenever readings are reported in 442 TDS. Values from 15 ppm through 30,000 ppm cover ultrapure RO permeate up to brine and high-salinity water. The 2 oz bottles suit single-point field calibration; quarts and gallons suit shops calibrating a fleet of meters.

Calibrate near the value you measure most. Common picks: 442-3000 for general natural-water and TDS work, 442-150 for RO permeate and low-TDS drinking water, 442-15000 or 442-30000 for cooling tower blowdown and high-salinity applications.
