Ion Science Falco 2 — Fixed Continuous VOC Detector (Diffused & Pumped PID)
The Ion Science Falco 2 is a fixed, continuous photoionization detector for permanent and semi-permanent VOC monitoring. It detects total concentrations of over 700 volatile organic compounds across a range of 0.001 to 3,000 ppm, and is available in diffused or pumped configurations depending on whether you need the sample drawn to the sensor.
It is built to hand its readings to something else. 4-20 mA analog output and Modbus RS485 cover SCADA and telemetry integration, and two programmable relays with normally-open or normally-closed contacts drive external strobes and sounders directly. Patented Fence Electrode Technology and an anti-contamination design keep it stable in humidity, dust and particulate, which is what separates a fixed PID that runs for months from one that needs weekly attention.
