The Solinst 415 12V Submersible Pump is a small electric centrifugal pump for purging and sampling groundwater monitoring wells. The self-contained motor/impeller unit is lowered into the well on its own power cable, with 3/8" ID discharge tubing pushed onto a barbed fitting at the pump body. At surface, the cable connects to a dedicated 12V Pump Controller, which regulates the voltage sent to the motor — turning a dial raises voltage, spins the impeller faster, and increases flow rate; the pump itself carries no onboard electronics. At 4.78 cm (1.88") in diameter, it fits inside standard 2" Schedule 40/80 PVC monitoring wells.
