Geotech ETL Water Level Meter — Electric Rewind Reel
Deep-well water level measurement with powered tape retrieval — up to 5000 ft (1524 m), the deepest reel we build. An electric rewind reel pays for itself when your crew is doing many deep wells per shift: retrieval is fast, the wind is even every time, and nobody is hauling 3000 ft of wet tape by hand.
Measurement performance matches our other reels: roughly 1/100 of a foot per 100 feet, field-serviceable 5/8" (1.59 cm) probe, polyethylene-coated steel tape marked in engineering scale or metric. PFAS-free construction.
Choose your configuration
Select tape material and length together from the list below. Note the range differs by material:
- Poly — 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, and 5000 ft; 450, 600, 750, and 925 m. The 1000 ft and 5000 ft options are Poly only.
- MDPE — 1500, 2000, 2500, and 3000 ft; 450, 600, 750, and 925 m.
Supplied with the 5/8" probe only; the 3/8" probe is not offered at these depths. There is no carrying bag option for this reel size.
Which rewind do I need?
- Electric rewind (this reel) — powered retrieval, and the only way to reach 5000 ft. Choose it for high-volume deep monitoring.
- Manual rewind — geared hand crank, 1500–3000 ft. Lower cost, nothing to charge. Good for occasional deep readings.
- ET / ETL standard reel — 100–1000 ft / 30–300 m, and where the 3/8" probe option lives.
