Direct Push Liner for Geoprobe® MacroCore (MC5) Samplers, 1.75"
Fits Geoprobe® MacroCore (MC5) samplers — 1.75" OD. The MacroCore is the most widely used Geoprobe soil sampler, run on 54-, 66-, and 78-series and comparable direct-push rigs. If that's your tooling, this is your liner.
An aftermarket replacement liner manufactured by Universal Plastics, a Geotech Environmental Equipment, Inc. company, from rigid clear PVC extruded in the USA. The liner rides inside the sampler barrel and captures a continuous, minimally disturbed core as the tool is driven and retrieved — so field staff can read stratification through the liner wall immediately, and the lab receives an intact sample.

Best for: continuous or depth-discrete soil sampling in unconsolidated or coarse-grained soils. Clear PVC suits metals, inorganics, general chemistry, and stratigraphic logging.
In the field: load the liner into the MacroCore barrel before driving, advance to depth, then retrieve and cap both ends for transport — or split the liner open on site to log and sub-sample.
Prefer to open liners without a blade? The Geotech ZipLiner for MacroCore is the same liner with a factory-scored tear strip, opened with a ZipTool instead of a utility knife.
