Bailer extensions are plain body sections that thread between the top and bottom of a reusable PVC bailer to increase its capacity. Rather than buying a second bailer in a longer length, you add the extension you need and reconfigure in the field.

Application: Increasing sample volume when one bailer pass isn't enough — a longer column means fewer trips down the well and less time on site. Also useful when the volume requirement varies between wells on the same route: carry one bailer plus a couple of extensions instead of several fixed-length bailers.

Extensions match the diameter of the bailer they attach to, so order to suit your existing body. Available for .84", 1.66" and 3.5" white PVC bailers in lengths from 12" to 60". Screw-together construction means they break down for decontamination between sites.
