WL450 Stainless Steel Water Level Transmitter
The Global Water WL450 All Stainless Steel Water Level Transmitter is a submersible pressure transducer built for accuracy and long-term reliability in demanding environments. A rugged, flush-mounted 316L stainless steel diaphragm paired with digital temperature compensation and an environmentally neutral Hytrel® cable lets it hold performance day after day across a wide range of operating conditions — making it well suited to test wells, surface water, streams, and reservoirs, in both fresh and saltwater.
Each transmitter ships calibrated for a specific range in feet of head and is set up for 2-wire, 4–20 mA output. The WL450 also provides a direct RS-485 digital output for connection to a modem or communications network, avoiding the error and complexity of analog-to-digital conversion devices.

Configuration Guidance
Choose the pressure range that covers the maximum water level change expected for your application (not necessarily the total water depth); selecting the smallest suitable range yields the best accuracy. The matching standard cable length is included with each range. Note: a 24 V power source or a BR100 boost regulator is required when the cable length exceeds 50 ft (and for the larger ranges). Custom ranges and cable lengths are available on request.
