Solinst 615 Manual Slide Hammer & Drive Head Assembly
The Solinst Manual Slide Hammer drives 615 Drive Point Piezometers and their extensions into the ground by repeated impact. It strikes only the Drive Head Assembly, which threads onto the top of the drive pipe and includes a tubing-bypass sleeve that shields sample tubing running through the extensions from impact damage during driving. Extensions are added and driven in sequence until the target depth is reached, after which the drive head and hammer are removed and a cap or fitting installed.
