Solinst 301 Water Level Temperature Sensor
The Solinst 301 Water Level Temperature Sensor (WLTS) is a submersible pressure and temperature transmitter, not a standalone datalogger — it converts pressure and temperature readings into a continuous digital signal for an external readout, controller, or SCADA/PLC system. A piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor with Hastelloy wetted parts is paired with a platinum RTD temperature sensor, both housed in a slim 316L stainless steel body, and connected by cable to a PC or third-party equipment. The sensor natively outputs Modbus or SDI-12 digital signals; where a 4-20mA analog signal is needed instead, an optional Current Loop Adaptor converts the digital readings into two independent 4-20mA current-loop channels, one for level and one for temperature.
