Seametrics PT2X-BV Barometric/Vacuum Sensor
Built on the same platform as the PT2X Pressure/Temperature Sensor, the Seametrics PT2X-BV is a barometric and vacuum datalogger that provides the atmospheric reference needed to compensate absolute PT2X pressure sensors — eliminating the need for desiccant tubes. It also measures vacuum pressure directly, making it useful for soil vapor extraction pilot testing.
Available cabled or cableless in 316 stainless steel, the PT2X-BV logs up to 520,000 records of pressure, temperature, and time on two field-replaceable AA batteries (or 12VDC auxiliary power for data-intensive deployments), and communicates over Modbus RTU (RS485) or SDI-12 using Seametrics' free Aqua4Plus software.
- Barometric reference for absolute pressure sensors — no desiccant tubes required
- ±0.05% FSO typical accuracy, thermally compensated
- 520,000-record non-volatile memory
- Low-power design with field-replaceable AA batteries or 12VDC auxiliary power
- Modbus RTU (RS485) and SDI-12 digital interface
- Free Aqua4Plus software with barometric compensation utility
