The RKI SD-1 is a compact, explosion-proof fixed gas detector head available across five sensor platforms — electrochemical (EC) for toxic gases like CO and H2S, catalytic combustible sensors (GH and GP) covering dozens of solvents and flammable gases, galvanic oxygen (OX), and infrared (RI/DRI) for combustibles resistant to catalytic poisoning. All output 4-20mA, with HART communication available on select sensors.

ATEX/IECEx Ex d IIC T5 rated with IP-65/67 housing, the SD-1 is built for LNG terminals, petrochemical plants, power stations, utilities, and steel works. RKI's SD-1GH platform alone covers 25+ specific solvent and VOC gases — the configurations listed here are the most commonly ordered across each sensor type; other gas-specific calibrations are available by quote.
