RKI SC-8000 Toxic Gas Detector
The RKI SC-8000 is a single-channel, sample-draw toxic gas detector built around electrochemical sensing, offered in dedicated versions for 24 distinct target gases — from ammonia and hydrogen sulfide to more specialized compounds like silane, arsine, and hydrogen peroxide. An internal pump pulls a continuous sample at roughly 0.5 L/min, giving fast response in process areas where a single, specific gas needs continuous coverage.
The SC-8000 runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion pack (roughly 25-hour runtime) or 3×AA alkaline batteries (about 18 hours), with an IP-67-rated housing that's intrinsically safe (Ex ia IIC T4) and IECEx, ATEX, TIIS, and CE certified. Its broad single-target gas library makes it a common fit for semiconductor fabs, specialty chemical plants, and other facilities standardizing on one detector platform across many different target gases.
