The RKI PS-2 is a simple, single-point fixed LEL detector built for straightforward area monitoring in an ABS indoor housing. A metal-oxide semiconductor sensor covers LEL or ppm ranges depending on the target gas, with two alarm levels driving 12A relay contacts, an orange alarm-1 LED, a red alarm-2 LED, and an 85dB horn.

A 30-foot standard sensor cable keeps the electronics away from the monitored point, and the PS-2 is available in 115VAC, 24VDC, or 48VDC powered versions to match existing facility wiring. It's rated for 35-120°F and 0-100% relative humidity, making it a low-cost option for facilities that need basic point-source combustible gas coverage rather than a full multi-channel system.
