The RKI GP-03 is a pocket-sized single-gas detector that monitors combustible gas from 0–100% LEL using a catalytic combustion sensor, drawing samples by diffusion with a 30-second response time. Weighing just 2.8 oz (80g), it fits easily on a belt clip or in a shirt pocket for all-day wear.

A digital LCD with auto backlight displays live readings alongside first-alarm (10% LEL), second-alarm (50% LEL), and over-range (100% LEL) alerts, backed by flashing LEDs, an audible buzzer, and a standard vibration alarm. The field-replaceable sensor lasts 2+ years and interchanges with RKI's GX-2009 and GX-2012 platforms, and the GP-03 runs up to 35 hours on 2×AAA alkaline batteries (30 hours on Ni-MH) with up to 300 hours of onboard datalogging.
