RKI GD-K88AI Smart Gas Transmitter
The RKI GD-K88AI is an intrinsically safe smart transmitter built for the specialty toxic gases common in semiconductor and electronics manufacturing — arsine, diborane, silane, disilane, tungsten hexafluoride, and more — alongside standard industrial toxics like chlorine, ammonia, and hydrogen sulfide. Electrochemical sensors rated for 3-5 year service life keep maintenance intervals long for gases that are otherwise costly to monitor continuously.
Available in a standard diffusion housing, a NEMA 4X enclosure for washdown or outdoor environments, or a sample-draw (GD-K88DI) version for remote-point monitoring, the GD-K88AI outputs 4-20mA (≤300Ω load) at 15-27VDC and carries intrinsic safety certification (Ex ia IIC T4) when paired with a Zener barrier.
