Myron L Ultrapen PT5 Dissolved Oxygen (DO) & Temperature Pen
The Myron L Ultrapen PT5 measures dissolved oxygen and temperature in a pocket-sized, waterproof pen. It uses an optical (luminescent) DO sensing approach that needs no membranes to replace and no electrolyte to refill, so there is far less to maintain than on a traditional Clark-cell DO meter — and no stirring dependency to bias a reading.
Application
Suited to groundwater and surface water sampling, low-flow purge monitoring, aquaculture and fish hatcheries, wastewater aeration checks, and any field round where DO drives a decision. Automatic temperature compensation is built in, the sensor is user replaceable (order RPT5), and a single N-type battery powers the pen.
Features
- Dissolved oxygen and temperature in one pen
- No membranes or electrolyte to service
- Automatic temperature compensation
- User-replaceable DO sensor cap
- Waterproof housing with fully encapsulated electronics
