Myron L Ultrapen Accessories — Sensor Caps, Scoops, Lanyards and Clips
The small parts that keep Ultrapen pens usable. Sensor caps hold storage solution against the sensor and protect it from impact; scoops let you sample a vertical stream or shallow water without submerging the whole pen; lanyards and clips stop pens from disappearing down a manhole. Individually inexpensive, collectively the difference between a pen that lasts and one that dies early.
Application
Replace a sensor cap as soon as it cracks or stops sealing — a dry pH or ORP sensor degrades within days. Note that when sampling with the scoop, the pen should be recalibrated using the scoop to hold rated accuracy. The empty 2 oz bottles are handy for decanting calibration standard so you never dip a used sensor into your stock solution.
