Nitrate standards and ionic strength adjuster (ISA) solutions for the Myron L Ultrapen PT6 and UltrapenX2 PTBT6 nitrate pens. The standards cover four decades of concentration so you can calibrate close to the level you actually measure; the ISA solutions condition the sample so ionic strength differences between standard and sample don't skew the reading.

Application

Agricultural runoff and tile drainage, drinking water and well surveys, nutrient monitoring in surface water, hydroponic and fertigation feed water, and wastewater nitrification checks. Calibrate with the standard nearest your expected concentration — 1 or 10 ppm for background surface water, 100 or 1000 ppm for fertilizer and process samples.

What to order

• Nitrate standards — 1, 10, 100 and 1000 ppm (as nitrate), 2 oz or quart
• NISA — ionic strength adjuster for standards and low-ionic-strength samples
• NISB — ionic strength adjuster for sample preparation
