Two categories matter most for keeping an OCMA in service: the filter element and filter packing in the oil/water separation section, which are wear items replaced on a routine schedule, and the calibration oils used to set the span of the infrared detector. Neglecting either shows up directly as drift or unreliable results.

Filters and seals

Filter element (part no. 5700016168) — 40 mm diameter Teflon filter for the OCMA-500 and OCMA-310. A routine replacement item.
Filter packing (part no. 3200044264) — O-ring for the oil/water separation filter section. Replace alongside the filter element to maintain a proper seal.

Sample cell

Quartz crystal sample cell (part no. 3200044428) — for the OCMA-500. Quartz is used because it transmits in the infrared; a scratched, etched or clouded cell degrades the measurement and must be replaced rather than polished.
Sample cell cap (part no. 3200044438) — covers the quartz crystal sample cell.

Calibration oils

B-heavy oil, 10 mL bottle (part no. 3200043747) — used to prepare span calibration liquid for the OCMA-500. Specific gravity 0.895 at 20 °C. Note that B-heavy oil is viscous and difficult to dispense with a microsyringe; HORIBA recommends weighing it in a screw-top glass container instead.
Tridecane, 10 mL bottle (part no. 3200762409) — alternative standard for preparing span calibration solution.

If you know the specific oil type you are measuring, you can also calibrate against that oil rather than a generic standard — this generally gives the most accurate result for your matrix.
