Heron barLog Barometric Data Logger

Heron barLog Barometric Data Logger

The Heron barLog is a barometric data logger that records atmospheric pressure so it can be used to compensate readings from a non-vented (absolute) groundwater data logger, correcting for changes in barometric pressure over the monitoring period.

Application

Deployed once per job location (recommended within roughly a 5km/3mi radius), suspended above the water table in a well or nearby on site — never submerged. Used alongside dipper-Log 128+ or dipper-Log TOUGH+ absolute loggers for accurate compensated water level data.
