Global Water WS700 Series Automatic Water Samplers
Programmable automatic water samplers for unattended composite and discrete sampling — stormwater outfalls, NPDES compliance points, influent and effluent streams, and landfill leachate. Set a schedule or trigger on rainfall, and the sampler pulls and stores samples without a technician standing over it.
Choose your model — 3 questions
- One pump or two? The WS700 series draws through a single peristaltic pump. The WS750 series carries two independent pumps, so you can sample two streams — or two bottle sets from one stream — on separate programs.
- Do you need refrigeration? The WS700R holds samples at temperature for parameters with short hold times or a preservation requirement. It runs on 115 VAC, so it needs line power at the site.
- How will you move it? The WS705 and WS755 add wheels and a pull handle — worth it if the unit gets repositioned between events or carried down an embankment.
Every sampler order needs these — please specify
- Sample containers. 1 gallon or 2.5 gallon plastic, sized to your composite volume.
- A float switch matched to the container you chose — there is a separate part for the 1 gallon and the 2.5 gallon bottle. This is what stops the pump when the bottle is full.
- Pump tubing. Neoprene peristaltic tubing, by the foot. It is a wear item — order spare.
- Power. A 12 V 5 Ah rechargeable battery and charger for any unit not on line power.
- A rain sensor if you are triggering on rainfall rather than on a clock — standard for first-flush stormwater work.
All of the above are in Auto Sampler Parts & Accessories.
Applications
Stormwater and first-flush monitoring, NPDES permit sampling, wastewater influent and effluent, landfill leachate, surface water studies, and any composite sampling program where site visits are expensive.
