CE-marked GeoReels for the Geotech GeoSub 2 submersible pump. The reel carries the pump's motor lead so deploying and recovering the pump is a single controlled operation rather than a tangle of cable on the ground.

Two reel styles

Hand Reel — the compact, lower-cost option. Supplied with the motor lead and a 3/8" hose barb discharge fitting. Discharge tubing is not included — add a 3/8" ID tubing roll below in the material your program requires.
Small Portable Reel — a self-contained portable reel supplied complete with discharge tubing already fitted. Choose the tubing material to match your analyte list.

3/8" ID discharge tubing for the Hand Reel

Any of these fit the 3/8" hose barb:

LDPE 3/8" x 1/2" — the economical standard for routine purging
HDPE 3/8" x 1/2" — stiffer and more abrasion-resistant for deep or rough casings
FEP Lined PE 3/8" x 1/2" — inert fluoropolymer flow path at lower cost than full FEP
FEP 3/8" x 1/2" — fully inert; the reference material for VOCs, SVOCs and low-level organics
PVC Nylobraid 3/8" x 5/8" — braided reinforcement for higher pressure and rougher handling
Clear Vinyl PVC 3/8" x 1/2" — low-cost clear line for non-critical transfer

Choosing a tubing material (Portable Reel)

Polyethylene — the economical standard for routine purging and general groundwater work.
FEP Lined PE — an inert fluoropolymer flow path with a polyethylene outer wall. Use where the analyte list rules out direct contact with polyethylene, at a lower cost than full FEP.
FEP — fully inert fluoropolymer throughout. The reference material for VOCs, SVOCs and low-level organics.
PVC Nylobraid — braided-reinforced PVC for higher pressure and rougher handling where chemical inertness is less critical.

Also required

Every GeoSub 2 reel needs the 15 ft extension cord (51201004) to carry power from the controller to the reel. It is included in the Pump & Controller Kit — add it here if you are building a system from separate components.
