Geotech Double Check Valve Disposable Bailers use two check balls — one at the top and one at the bottom — rather than the single bottom check found on a standard bailer.

The second check valve seals the top of the bailer as it is withdrawn, so the sample column stays put instead of sloshing or draining back down the well. That means less agitation on retrieval, better sample retention, and reduced loss of volatiles.

Molded from virgin polyethylene with a biodegradable additive. PFAS-free. Single use — no decontamination, no cross-contamination between wells.

Application

Purge-and-sample work in monitoring wells where sample integrity matters — VOC collection, trace metals prep, and deeper wells where a single-check bailer tends to lose volume on the way up. Weighted for a faster, straighter descent.

Where the extra retention isn't needed, the standard weighted and non-weighted disposables cost less per case.
