The R-Cam 1300 TLE is a portable colour video inspection system for water wells and boreholes, carrying 1,300 ft (396.2 m) of Kevlar-reinforced coaxial cable on a 12 VDC electric winch. Two wide-angle cameras share one stainless steel housing, so the operator can switch between looking straight down the hole and panning the casing wall without pulling the camera. The TLE winch's gear-driven level wind lays cable evenly across the drum on its own, and a 100 PPR optical encoder feeds a resettable depth readout on the monitor, leaving the crew free to watch the survey rather than guide cable by hand.
