An aftermarket replacement liner manufactured by Universal Plastics, a Geotech Environmental Equipment, Inc. company, from rigid clear PVC extruded in the USA. The liner captures a continuous, minimally disturbed core as the sampler is driven and retrieved — stratification is readable through the liner wall on the spot, and the sample reaches the lab intact.

Best for: continuous soil coring in unconsolidated or coarse-grained soils where a larger sample volume is needed — for example, when one run has to supply multiple analyses. Clear PVC suits metals, inorganics, general chemistry, and stratigraphic logging.

In the field: load the liner into the sampler barrel before driving, advance to depth, then retrieve and cap both ends for transport — or split the liner open on site to log and sub-sample.
