The Solinst Levelogger 6 Junior is the budget option in the Levelogger 6 Series — a lower-cost absolute-pressure datalogger for groundwater and surface water level and temperature. It packs a pressure sensor, temperature detector, datalogger and 5-year battery into the same compact 22 mm x 160 mm (7/8" x 6.3") stainless steel housing as the standard Levelogger 6, and uses the same durable Hastelloy® pressure sensor, which performs well in harsh water chemistry and survives twice its rated over-pressure without permanent damage.

Accuracy is ± 0.1% FS with lifetime factory calibration, so no annual recalibration is required. Memory holds 75,000 sets of level and temperature readings plus a separate dedicated backup for the most recent 500 readings, and sampling intervals run from 0.5 seconds to 99 hours in linear mode with Future Start and Real Time View. Temperature is measured by a platinum RTD to ± 0.1°C, with automatic temperature compensation from 0°C to +40°C, and the logger operates from -20°C to +80°C.

Programming is identical to the standard Levelogger 6 — Levelogger Software detects the device type automatically — and the Junior works with every Levelogger 6 Series accessory: Desktop and Field Readers, the Mk3 USB-C PC Interface Cable at 19.2k baud, the Solinst Readout Unit, the DataGrabber USB transfer device, the Levelogger App Interface over Bluetooth®, SDI-12 and MODBUS Interface Cables, and Solinst telemetry. Deploy it on a direct read cable, stainless steel wireline or Kevlar® cord, with a Solinst 2" locking well cap.

Where the standard Levelogger 6 is worth the step up: tighter ± 0.05% FS accuracy, six depth ranges up to 200 m instead of two, 150,000-reading memory with a 20,000-reading backup, event-based and user-defined sampling schedules, a 10-year battery, and a 3-year warranty against the Junior's 1 year.
