RediFlo2 (MP1) Pump and Hand Reels
The RediFlo2 (MP1) is a stainless steel and PTFE electrical submersible pump that purges and samples with the same unit. Flow ranges from 8 GPM (30 LPM) down to 100 mL/min under the Geotech VFD, so you can move casing volumes quickly and then drop to a stabilised low-flow rate without pulling the pump or swapping equipment. At 1.81" (4.6 cm) diameter it enters any 2" or larger well, and it operates to 280 ft (85 m).
Manufactured by Eijkelkamp (Eijkelkamp Soil & Water) as the MP 1 / Redi-Flo2. Previously built by Grundfos — the pump, part numbers and service kits are unchanged.
Applications
- Low-flow / micro-purge sampling — stable drawdown at rates low enough to hold water quality parameters steady while you monitor them.
- Well purging and development — high-rate purging of casing volumes before sampling, and post-installation development.
- VOC and low-level organics — continuous, non-agitating flow with chemically inert wetted parts protects volatiles and keeps sample integrity intact.
- Dedicated well installations — leave the pump in place with an all-in-one motor lead, integrated safety cable and well cap for repeat sampling of the same well.
- Aquifer and remediation testing — sustained controllable discharge for drawdown tests and system performance checks.
Key features
- Chemically inert wetted materials — stainless steel and PTFE for maximum sample integrity and straightforward decontamination between wells.
- One pump, both jobs — purge rates and sampling rates from a single unit, adjusted at the controller.
- Low velocity, low agitation — continuous flow rather than pulsed delivery, for a cleaner catch.
- Solid-state flow control — the VFD sets rate electronically, so no throttling valves are needed in the discharge line.
- Field serviceable — designed for disassembly and reassembly in the field; every wear part is available individually or as a kit.
- Portable or dedicated — run it from a hand reel site to site, or install it permanently in a monitoring well.
Choosing an option
Every option below includes the pump. The hand reel versions add a gray hand reel wound with an all-in-one motor lead — motor cable and integrated stainless safety cable in a single run — in the length you select. Choose the lead length to reach your deepest well plus working slack at surface. Pump Only suits a dedicated installation or a replacement for an existing reel.

Completing your system
Everything listed here is in Redi-Flo2 (MP1) Parts & Accessories.
Required
- Variable Frequency Drive — 115 V or 230 V; sets discharge rate from 8 GPM down to 100 mL/min
- 1/2" x 5/8" discharge tubing
- 15 ft extension cord — connects the VFD to the reel
- Cooling shroud — required in any well 4" or larger. In 2" wells the passing water cools the pump automatically; in wider casings it can overheat and suffer permanent damage.
Also available — GeoReels with discharge tubing already fitted (LDPE, FEP lined PE, PTFE or PVC Nylobraid, 100–300 ft), cable guard, stainless steel check valve, and the full range of replacement parts and service kits.
