Myron L titration reagents and standards for alkalinity and hardness

Myron L Titration Reagents and Standards for Alkalinity, Hardness and LSI

Titration reagents and reference standards for in-cell alkalinity, hardness and LSI work on the Myron L Ultrameter III 9P and PoolPro PS9. These are the consumables that get used up on a titration route — titrants, buffers and the check standards you verify your technique against.

Application

Alkalinity and hardness drive scale and corrosion behavior, so cooling-tower, boiler, potable-water and pool programs re-run these titrations constantly. Use the Alkalinity Standard 100 and Hardness Standard 200 to confirm the instrument and the operator are reading true before trusting field numbers, and keep spare titrant on hand — running out mid-route costs more than the reagent.

What to order

  • Check standards — Alkalinity Standard 100, Hardness Standard 200
  • Hardness titrants — EDTA low and high concentration, plus the EDTA-B variants used with the 9P titration procedure
  • Buffer — HBUFF hardness buffer
  • Acid / base titrants — HCl-3 and NaOH

Each is stocked in 2 oz field bottles and quarts.
