Replacement handheld control unit for the HORIBA U-50 Series multiparameter water quality meters. Supplied without a sensor probe — replace only the display unit and keep the probe you already own, or add a second control unit so two crews can share one set of probes.

The control unit is the display, keypad and data logger of the U-50 system. It shows every measured parameter simultaneously, stores readings in internal memory, and downloads to a PC using the U-50PC data collection software.

Two versions

• U-5000 (part no. 3200324195) — standard control unit, no GPS. Use with U-51, U-52 and U-53 sensor probes.
• U-5000G (part no. 3200324196) — built-in GPS tags every stored reading with latitude and longitude. Required for U-52G and U-53G probes, and the way to add GPS logging to an existing U-50 system.

• Rebuilding a meter whose sensor probe is still serviceable
