Genuine HORIBA standard and calibration solutions for LAQUAtwin pocket meters. Most are supplied as sets of six 14 mL sachets — a single-use format that keeps every calibration traceable to fresh, uncontaminated standard. Once a sachet is opened it is used and discarded, so there is no bottle sitting on a shelf slowly absorbing carbon dioxide or growing biofilm.

Calibration is only as good as the standard behind it. Standards drift with age and contaminate quickly once opened, and a meter calibrated against a degraded standard reads confidently wrong. The sachet format removes that failure mode entirely, which is why it matters for any measurement that has to stand up to scrutiny.

Calibration guidance

• Calibrate with two standards that bracket your expected sample range for best accuracy.
• Recalibrate after fitting a new sensor, and routinely at the start of each measuring session.
• Use the high standard for ion-selective sensor conditioning before first use.
• Fluoride measurements require TISAB to control ionic strength and remove interference.
