Turbidity is an optical measurement, which makes it unusually sensitive to the physical condition of the sample vial. Scratches, fingerprints and etching scatter light and push readings upward — an effect most pronounced at low NTU, exactly where drinking water compliance limits sit. Vials are consumables, not permanent hardware, and replacing a worn set is often the single cheapest way to restore confidence in low-range results.

• Silicone oil and cloth set (3201067504) — the oil fills fine surface imperfections in the vial glass so they stop scattering light. Apply and polish before measuring, especially below 1 NTU.
• Sample vial set, 4 pieces (3201067927) — replacement measurement vials. Keep a spare set so a scratched vial never forces you to accept a questionable reading.
• Vial cover (3201068357) — light shield that seats over the vial in the measurement well, excluding ambient light.
• Carrying case (3201068032) — replacement hard case for transporting the meter, vials and standards.
