Hanna HI97745 pH, Free & Total Chlorine, Total Hardness & Iron Portable Photometer
The Hanna HI97745 is an advanced portable photometer that measures four key water quality parameters in one meter — pH, free and total chlorine, total hardness (calcium/magnesium), and low-range iron. It's an efficient all-in-one for routine drinking-water and treated-water testing.
Key features
- Superior optical system with LED source, 525 nm narrowband interference filter, reference detector, and 25 mm round cuvette for fast, repeatable low-absorbance readings
- Method-correct chemistries: phenol red (pH), adapted Standard Method 4500-Cl G (chlorine), colorimetric hardness, and TPTZ (iron)
- CAL Check performance verification with NIST-traceable standards; Tutorial Mode and built-in reaction timer for consistent results
- Displays hardness in multiple chemical forms; logs the last 50 readings; ~800 measurements on 3 AA batteries with auto-off
What's included: HI97745 photometer, sample cuvettes (2) with caps and plastic inserts (2), 3 AA batteries, instrument quality certificate, and instruction manual. (Reagents and CAL Check standards sold separately.)
Applications: drinking water, swimming pools and spas, and boiler/cooling water where chlorine, hardness, iron, and pH are monitored together.
