Geotech Reusable Bailers are built to be cleaned and used again — a lower cost per sample than disposables once you are running the same wells month after month. Screw-together construction means they break down for decontamination and reconfigure in the field.

Three materials, each suited to a different job:

• White PVC — the economical general-purpose body for routine monitoring.
• Clear PVC — lets you see turbidity, sediment carryover or a product layer before the sample reaches a jar.
• Stainless Steel — the durable, chemically resistant option, with PFAS-free versions for programs that require documented wetted materials.

Check styles are offered alongside the standard bodies. Double check bailers seal top and bottom so the sample column stays put on retrieval; recessed check bailers protect the check ball from sediment damage in silty wells.

Application

Long-term and dedicated monitoring programs where the same wells are sampled repeatedly — leaving a dedicated bailer downhole eliminates cross-contamination and cuts setup time on each visit. Also the practical choice for well development and purging, where a disposable would be wasted on water that is going to be discarded.

For one-off sampling, unknown contamination, or any job where decontamination between wells is impractical, the disposable polyethylene range avoids the cleaning burden entirely.
