Geotech Geopump Series I Peristaltic Pump
The Geotech Geopump™ Series I is a portable peristaltic sampling pump for shallow groundwater and surface water. The sample touches nothing but the inside of the tubing, so there is no pump body to decontaminate between wells — you change the tube and move to the next location. Series I carries one pumping station running 60–350 RPM, which can be piggybacked for multi-station work. It lifts from up to 29 feet (8.8 m) at sea level and runs on 12–18 V DC in the field or 90–260 V AC on the bench.
Building your Geopump
Every Series I part number is assembled from three choices. Pick one from each group in the options above.
- Power & cords — DC only with a hardwired DC cord, or AC/DC with an interchangeable AC cord, DC cord, or both. The AC cord is 8 ft (2.4 m); the DC cord is 15 ft (4.6 m).
- Field case — none, a hard case with cut foam inserts, or that case with a 12 V battery and charger. The battery module is DC, so it is not offered on the AC-cord-only build.
- Pump head — none, Standard, Geoload, or Easy-Load® II. Every head ships with 5 feet of size 15 silicone tubing.
Series I or Series II?
The two pumps share the same body, power options, cases, pump heads and 29 ft suction lift. The difference is the drive: Series I has one pumping station at 60–350 RPM, while the Geopump Series II has two — the first at 30–300 RPM and the second at 60–600 RPM — for running two sample lines at different speeds from one pump.

A short-shaft version of each head is available for stacking; stacking requires additional mounting hardware.
Tubing
The Geopump runs on silicone tubing in the pump head and polyethylene tubing on the intake and discharge lines. Tygon is not compatible with this pump — use silicone for the pump head.
