Choosing a material

LDPE — the standard, most flexible option and the easiest to handle on a reel in cold weather.
HDPE — stiffer and more abrasion-resistant; holds up better in deep or rough casings.
FEP-lined LDPE — an inert fluoropolymer flow path with a polyethylene outer wall. Use where the analyte list rules out direct contact with polyethylene.
