The AMS Gas Powered Core Sampling Kit pairs the gasoline-powered REDI Boss Hammer with AMS core sampling tooling to collect soil cores to depths of up to 8 ft (2.4 m) quickly and with minimal soil compaction. The powered hammer drives the sampler through tough, compacted soils with far less effort than manual methods, making it ideal for limited-access sites and high-volume sampling programs.

The kit's 4 ft slotted sampler tube can be run on its own to recover a full 4 ft core (ejected with the included cleanout spoon), or combined with the 2 ft upper and lower extensions and plastic liners to build a 2 ft or 4 ft lined sampler. An AMS Foot Jack and shackles make sampler removal ergonomic. A no-hammer configuration is available for crews who already own a compatible powered hammer.
